My daughters and I came from NY and Ct. for the flower show. We ate at Portofinos ( by chance ) what a lovely experience   food,service,ambience,price  all excellent. Thank you Portofino

I visited your restaurant for lunch on a Friday with two work friends about a month ago. We all had the Mediterranean Salad, which by the way was excellent and loaded with crap meat. I thought it necessary to write a positive comment due to the fact that most people only write to complain. It is also very difficult to find a restaurant with fresh food at a reasonable price.

After attending a theater show with a group of friends we came to Portofino for dinner. The location was convient also we liked that outdoor seating was available, to our surprise the pricing was reasonable as well. The items on the dinner menu looked great; however I decided to order one of the specials, which was delicious! The service was excellent and our waiter suggested a wine to each of us, and he paired them with the entrees we ordered, it was amazing. As we were leaving we received a discount on our dinner, when we showed our theater tickets and our parking was validated. I couldn't ask for much more out of a restaurant, it was a great choice to go to Portofino .

My partner and I decided to take a very important client here for lunch. Not only did we close the deal, but we all three of us found a new favorite restaurant in town. Thanks Portofinos! There were daily lunch specials that our server described for us, I chose the seafood special and it was delicious, even thinking about it now, has me craving it. But really the best part was the service. .

Four of my friends and I came here for lunch this afternoon. We started out with two appetizers, the Crab Cake Martini, and the Cozze appetizer both of which were delicious. For my main course I tried the Fettuccine Abruzzese, the pasta was homemade and very light and tasty. One of my friends ordered the Veal Gamberetti and she couldn't stop raving about the sauce, and the tenderness of the veal. We ended with dessert and cappuccinos. I believe it was one of the best lunches I have had. I don't think any restaurant in town can beat Portofinos value.

Some of my friends came into town last night for dinner and we came to Portofinos. I ordered the salmon special and it may have been the best salmon dish I have ever eaten. I also tried the minestrone soup which had a delicious homemade taste to it. We ended with dessert and I tried the cannoli although I had to take some of it home it was very tasty. My friends were impressed with the atmosphere and the quality of the food. When we left the manager asked us if we needed our parking validated, unfortunately we walked but it was nice to know that they do validate parking, and that he asked us.

p.s. One of my friends was so impressed with the restaurant that he already made his anniversary reservations there.

My co-workers and I came here for restaurant week and had a fabulous time. We enjoyed a delicious four course meal for only $35 per person. We all left extremely full and happy.

I brought my parents out for dinner and a theater show the other evening and we eat at Portofino 's restaurant. My mother was so pleased with the service and ambience provided. I really enjoyed the veal special and my wife loved the salmon special. Thanks for a wonderful start to our evening Portofino ! We will sure to be back.

I had dinner at portofinos restaurant with my family before seeing a show at the local theater. The food and wine was great! Our server got us out in time for our show and they discounted our parking and meal since we had theater tickets. We couldnt have asked for a better evening.

My Friend and I came here for lunch while doing our holiday shopping. The restaurant was decorated beautifully. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch for a wonderful price. We also shared a bottle of wine from there wonderful wine selection.

Having recently visited Portofino for a birthday dinner, I had to write you and say that this was simply one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. From the minute we arrived the Maitre'd was funny and charming, and although our table wasn't ready quite yet, the bar had enough seating and atmosphere that we didn't mind our 5 minute wait. Our server promptly acknowledged us and was able to recite the daily seafood specials while taking our drink orders. The menu was full of interesting items, so being a party of 6 we decided to try a bit of everything. The fettucine alfredo was rich and creamy without being heavy. The two veal dishes were amazing, by far the best I have ever had. The filet was enough to make any steakhouse jealous, served in a red wine sauce over roasted veggies, my mouth still waters everytime I think of it. The desserts were better than most, although my coffee was cool, the tiramisu was extravagant. I'd have to say that, perhaps, the best part of all was the price, under $200 with tax and tip for 6 people!

I just came back from a conference in Philadelphia where my associates and I had attended a business dinner at Portofino . I have to say that the food and service was outstanding. If you find yourself in Philadelphia this is one place you should not miss.

My wife and I have been attending the theatre in Philadelphia for quite a few years and only just found Portofino , thanks to the Kimmel Center web site. While most restaurants with theatre crowds offer prix fix menus, we were able to choose from the regular menu here and still made it to our show with plenty of time to spare, and we received a 20% discount. I think we'll be seeing a lot more of Portofino before future performances.

Portofino is my "place to impress" when it comes to business lunches. The food is top quality and offers a great value at lunch time. The service is superior to many other local restaurants. The overall impression on clients is always fantatstic; it's my secret weapon.

My daughter chose to have her wedding rehearsal dinner at Portofino and I was most impressed by the selection of foods on their custom menu. Most weddings offer you a choice of 1 or 2 main courses, they let us choose from 6! The food was really great and even though there were over a 100 of us the service never slowed down. A big thumbs up to the staff and the management!

My favorite happy hour in all the city. I came in because of the sign offering free food during happy hour and have been coming back weekly ever since. The drink specials are really good and the free food is full sized off the menu.
